This painting was a rushed effort. I had problems with a certain cat who wanted to sit on me. I had images of her walking in the paint so I had to speed up. I think in the end the painting is better for it. Some of the colours got blended together as I wasn’t taking the time to clean my brush.
Not to be outdone, Licorice is inhibiting my blog writing. The laptop is not precariously balanced on my knee, pushed to this point my a fat 7 kilo furball.
Guess it’s going to be a limited words night.
Computer as love rival I am familiar with, but not paintbrush.
I like the painting. She has a very imperious look. Who is it?
It’s inspired by a Vivien Maier photography. I don’t know who she is though. Many of Maier’s photographs are of unknown subjects.
Very interesting perspective. Is it very large–by some of the color areas it looks as if it might be. But cats know we feeble humans can’t create anything without them, and they have to add their part, literally, dusting cat hair into all we do.
I like the painting too, but you cannot leave such a snooty looking lady without a title.
Cannot think of anything appropriate at the moment.
Snooty? Hmm… well I guess you’re not going to call her madge then.
